Svarta Kaffid, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. I could easily get to hallgrimskirkja because it was only 1 mile away. Strongly recommend it and I would stay here again:)))

If you don't want to go far from the hotel, try old iceland restaurant, which is 500 ft away. Nice comfy base for a weekend in Reykjavík.
